This FAQ answers the most common questions about staying at Emerald Inn. If your question is not covered here, contact us directly by phone or email and we will be happy to help.

Rooms and Facilities

What room types do you offer?

We offer standard motel rooms and self-contained rooms with kitchenettes. Self-contained rooms include a cooktop, microwave, full-size fridge, cookware, utensils, and crockery. All rooms include air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, television, free WiFi, and free parking.

Do all rooms have air conditioning?

Yes. Every room has individually controlled air conditioning. In Emerald’s climate, air conditioning is essential and we ensure it is reliable and effective in every room.

Is WiFi included?

Yes. Free WiFi is included in all room rates. The WiFi supports general browsing, email, video calls, and streaming. It is suitable for remote work and video conferencing.

Is parking included?

Yes. Free on-site parking is included with every room. We can accommodate vehicles with trailers, caravans, and boats — let us know when booking so we can allocate appropriate parking space.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes. On-site laundry facilities are available for all guests. This is particularly useful for guests on extended stays.

Are your rooms non-smoking?

Yes. All rooms are non-smoking. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available on the property.

Rates and Payment

What are your rates?

Rates vary by room type and length of stay. Nightly, weekly, and monthly rates are available. Weekly and monthly rates offer significant savings over nightly pricing. Contact us for a current rate quote for your specific requirements.

Do you offer corporate rates?

Yes. Corporate accounts with negotiated rates and direct billing are available. Contact us with your company details and estimated usage to set up an account — typically completed within 24 hours.

Do you offer FIFO and mining worker rates?

Yes. We offer weekly and monthly rates structured for roster workers. Rates are fixed and consistent without surge pricing during peak periods. Bookings can be aligned to roster patterns.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and EFTPOS. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly. Direct bank transfer is available for corporate and long-stay bookings.

Is there a booking deposit required?

For standard bookings, no deposit is required. For peak period bookings (Ag-Grow, major events), a deposit may be requested to secure the room. Corporate account bookings do not require deposits.

Check-In and Check-Out

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in is from 2pm, check-out by 10am. Flexible arrangements are available for guests arriving outside these times — particularly FIFO workers, healthcare workers, and highway travellers arriving late. Contact us in advance to arrange.

Can I check in late at night?

Yes, by arrangement. Let us know your expected arrival time and we will ensure access is organised. We understand that regional travellers do not always arrive during standard hours.

Can I get an early check-in or late check-out?

Subject to availability, yes. Contact us in advance to request. For regular guests and corporate accounts, we accommodate these requests as a standard courtesy where possible.

Booking and Cancellations

How do I book?

Book direct by phone or email for the best rates. You can also book through our website. Booking direct allows us to accommodate special requests and provide the most competitive rate.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations where possible. For corporate and FIFO bookings, we are flexible with genuine changes due to roster adjustments, project changes, or operational requirements. We do not impose punitive cancellation charges on regular guests.

Can I modify my booking dates?

Yes. Contact us as early as possible if your dates change and we will adjust the booking. We understand that travel plans in regional Australia are subject to change and we accommodate this routinely.

Families and Groups

Do you have family rooms?

Yes. Family rooms accommodate two adults and two to three children. Cots are available at no additional charge. Family rooms include kitchenettes for preparing children’s meals.

Can you accommodate groups?

Yes. Group bookings for corporate teams, construction crews, sporting groups, and other organisations are welcome. Contact us with your group size and dates for a tailored arrangement.

Are pets allowed?

Please contact us to discuss. Pet policies depend on the nature of the stay and the pet. We will do our best to accommodate where possible.
