Emerald Inn — one base,
every day trip on this page.
Almost everything above is a day trip rather than an overnight stop — the Gemfields at forty-five minutes, Lake Maraboon at about 20 km, Carnarvon Gorge at three hours out and back. That works best from one place you keep coming back to. Our 32 apartments at 28–30 Esmond Street each have a full kitchen and a washer-dryer, so you can pack a picnic in the morning, cook the fish you caught that evening, and wash the red dust out of everything before the next drive.
Two Bedroom apartments suit families doing the Gemfields together — see all three apartment types, or if you are in the region for work rather than a holiday, our long-stay rates are arranged case by case.
